By using Medact, you agree to these terms. Medact provides information only — it is not a substitute for professional medical advice.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the Medact application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the App.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

Medact is a personal health management application that helps users track medications and supplements, check for potential drug interactions, set dosage reminders, and access AI-powered health information. The App is available on iOS.

Medact does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. All content and information within the App is for general informational purposes only. Nothing in the App should be construed as medical advice or a substitute for consultation with a qualified healthcare provider.

Always consult your doctor or pharmacist before making any changes to your medication routine, stopping a medication, or starting a new one. In case of a medical emergency, call emergency services immediately.

To use certain features of Medact, you must create an account. You agree to provide accurate information when registering and to keep your account information up to date. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

Medact offers a free tier and a Pro subscription. The Pro subscription is billed monthly at .49/month or annually at 8.99/year.

7. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of Medact — including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, and software — are the exclusive property of Medact and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse engineer any part of the App without our prior written consent.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Medact shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the App.

Medact's total liability to you for any claims arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the twelve months preceding the claim.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components. We do not warrant the accuracy, completeness, or usefulness of any information provided by the App.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms. You may delete your account at any time from the Profile section of the App. Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of Ontario, Canada.
